The sole director of Axel Glocal Business is Franco Moscetti, whose last corporate experience was that of CEO of the 24-Ore Group, which was led to trading at a surplus in about 18 months, after eight consecutive years of losses. Objective achieved through both ordinary and extraordinary activities.
In the past, Franco Moscetti had been the CEO and general manager of Amplifon spa, global leader in the distribution and application of acoustic devices and their correlating services. Thanks to his prior experience, he was able to consolidate the company’s global leadership by developing the company’s brand at an international level thereby taking business into new markets. Before working at Amplifon, Mr. Moscetti held positions in top management, both in Italy and abroad, in companies of the French group Air Liquide, world leader in the industrial and medical gas sector. He started his career as a sales rep for the Rome branch of Sio spa, a company working in the oxygen and gas industry, and then became the managing director of Vitalaire spa, a company specialized in home care services, followed by a position as managing director of Air Liquide Sanità, and then as managing director of Air Liquide Italia. His international experience comes from working as PDG of Air Liquide Santé France and as the director of the international level of the Healthcare division. He was also the director of numerous subsidiaries of the Gruppo in various countries across the world. His varied and extensive experience gained in past decades (“b to b” and “b to c”), both in the industrial as well as service sectors, with a strong focus on both organic growth as well as M&A activity, has allowed for his global approach to business.
